Wellbee - a chance to take care of your work-life balance

Impact investing is still modestly represented in the structure of the Polish venture capital market. We are all the more pleased to announce a new company in the investment portfolio of WP2 Investments. Wellbee- welcome to the blue family of WP2 Investments!

Wellbee has been taking care of the mental well-being of Poles since 2020. In an efficient and precise way, it helps people who want to take care of various aspects of mental health to choose the right specialist. Thanks to cooperation with a group of nearly 150 qualified and verified experts, platform users have access not only to a safe psychotherapeutic process conducted in various streams, but also to professional coaching, mentoring and other specialist mental health and wellbeing services.

So far, several thousand patients have used Wellbee's services. The platform is also a wellbeing partner of over 60 business clients, including a. o. international corporations such as PwC, EY, Canon, Brenntag and EPAM.

- We consciously and willingly invest in positive impact projects. The democratization of psychotherapy, taking care of well-being and self-development on the one hand, and the market's readiness for digitization and personalization of medical services on the other hand make such an investment a real response to real human needs - comments Wojciech Pysiewicz, co-founder of the WP2 Investments fund. "We also see and appreciate the knowledge and commitment of the entire Wellbee team, which are already translating into business results," he adds.

Wellbee's founders are managers with extensive experience in developing market-changing products. Paweł Chrzan previously headed the research and development department at Booksy, he also worked at Facebook and Google. Dariusz Milewski is a strategist and analyst with 14 years of experience working for the largest companies on the market (m.in PwC). Both are consistently expanding the competences of their already strong team, which has recently been joined by two more experienced specialists: Izabela Kluzek-Kot, an expert in wellbeing, Coach PCC, who has taken the position of Chief Business Development Officer at Wellbee, and Andrzej Silczuk MD-PhD, a physician, psychiatrist, academic lecturer and educator, who, as Chief Medical Officer, will watch over the high quality of support provided through the platform.

- We are developing faster and faster and in many directions, while the well-being of patients and the highest quality of services provided by our specialists are invariably our priority. We are further expanding our offer for business - we are glad that more and more companies see that psychological support for an employee is not a cost, but an investment that pays off quickly. Such support is important and should not be treated by employers as a "benefit" but something that every employee is entitled to - explains Dariusz Milewski, co-founder and CEO of Wellbee.

WP2 Investments is another investor who saw the potential of the company and the category. From the very beginning of its operation, the company has benefited from the capital and substantive support of the Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder fund.

"We are glad that Wellbee's dynamic development has been appreciated by another entity on the capital market. Funds from this round will be used to develop therapeutic processes and improve technologies in the field of diagnostics automation," says Radosław Czyrko, Managing Partner of Tar Heel Capital Pathfinder.

Over the coming months, the company also plans to expand into foreign markets.
