What is the biggest advantage of working in a fund?
For me, the biggest advantage of working at WP2 is the opportunity to work with a team that combines a variety of competencies and views on business. It is an environment where I can not only share my legal knowledge, but also learn from others – both in terms of strategy and investment practice. Each project is a new challenge that allows me to look at the law from the perspective of the real needs of entrepreneurs. I appreciate the fact that I can be part of a team that is not afraid to ask difficult questions, look for non-standard solutions and make decisions together. This gives me the feeling that my work has a real impact – not only on documents, but above all on people and their businesses.
What professional areas do you develop while working at WP2 Investments?
I am definitely developing in the area of transaction and corporate advisory, as well as – what is particularly important for me – in the field of business negotiations and civil proceedings. I have the opportunity to use academic knowledge in practice, which gives me great satisfaction. Working at WP2 also allows me to better understand how companies function from the inside – not only in terms of regulations, but also business decisions. It is a perfect complement to my experience as an attorney and teacher.
How can portfolio companies benefit from your competencies and ideas?
I think I can support portfolio companies in matters that require not only knowledge of regulations, but also an understanding of the business context. I help in the analysis of contracts, advise on corporate matters, support in negotiations and represent in court disputes. As time and possibilities available, I am happy to help.
What interesting things do you do outside of work?
Outside of work, I sing for pleasure. I love traveling because it allows me to explore new places, people, and perspectives. Cooking is my form of meditation, and the gym is my way of maintaining balance between body and mind.
