WP2 Investments - let's meet - Ewa Pysiewicz

At WP2 Investments, each new project is for me keeping up with the galloping changes in the way and style of communication in business, a lesson (of fascination and humility) that project work gives and the point of view of people from the team - says Ewa Pysiewicz, another person from our fund - the protagonist of our series "Let's get to know each other". Ewa is responsible for the area of marketing communication and supports you in this area as part of the ScaleUP Center.

Ewa runs the sixth area of support for companies within the ScaleUP Center (after controlling, law, fundraising, grant support and digital marketing), created exclusively for the purpose of non-equity support for companies from the blue portfolio.

What does Ewa say about working in the fund?

In the WP2 fund, I am responsible for broadly understood marketing communication - both in the area of building visibility, social media, as well as sales or product information.

Media relations and other "relations" in business are definitely my world. I believe in their power in building the company's image, durability of contracts, sales or coming out unscathed from more difficult situations in the company.

I spend most of my time "reading and writing". I used to think that if you could make a living from it, it would be a wonderful life. Probably in a different version - closer to business than higher literature, but I guess that's how I realize myself in my professional life:). At WP2 Investments, each new project is for me keeping up with the galloping changes in the way and style of communication in business, a lesson in fascination and humility that comes from project work and various points of view of other people from our team. I discover the secrets of the world of investment funds and impact investing activities, especially related to renewable energy or health aspects.

On my professional path, I have "gone through" several marketing and public relations departments in companies from various market areas - from banking, through construction, education and health.

Privately, I like summer in the city, theater, concerts and café slalom. The experience of living in the Netherlands taught me to enjoy being on the beach in winter. Every day I relax among pets, good books, ideally in the company of my children and Korean dishes (not only!:).
