New investment by WP2 Investments
Digital Ocean Ventures Starter was among the first 4 funds to be created as part of new PFR Ventures investments. WP2 Investments will be the main Limited Partner in the fund, which will aim to build a portfolio of companies around the fintech and digital transformation sector.
One of the largest parts of WP2 Investments' portfolio is a group of fintech companies and the development of this area justifies another investment, which is the VC DOV Starter fund, in which WP KWADRAT has become the main limited partner.
The DOV Starter investment team consists of Magdalena Olczak-Nowicka, Adam Bartkiewicz, Marcin Musiał and Piotr Widacki.

- Digital Ocean Ventures Starter has developed an investment policy according to which it is looking for companies from the fintech and digital transformation sectors, so it is very much in line with our strategic assumptions for the development of WP2 Investments. - says Wojciech Pysiewicz, co-founder of WP2. - We want to build a strong presence in the startup and fund ecosystem in Poland, investing not only in large, dynamically developing companies operating on global markets, which are already in our portfolio, but also in companies at an earlier stage, which will be the domain of DOV Starter's operations. In addition, we were convinced to invest by the managerial experience of the founders of Digital Ocean Ventures Starter, in which we had the opportunity to cooperate in business in previous years, and a common vision of how the fintech market can effectively develop in Polish conditions.
In addition to WP2 Investments, the DOV Starter fund has private investors.
Thanks to the funds raised, DOV Starter has the opportunity to invest in approx. 15 companies at the pre-seed stage, developing fintech and digital transformation startups.
